The Story
The Seiko Prospex SPB299J draws inspiration from Seiko's 1968 Diver's 300m watch, which was the first and set the highest world standard for hi-beat caliber divers—a significant milestone in Seiko's sixty years of pioneering diving watch innovation. It was worn during the first Japanese ascent of Mount Everest.
